Diagnosis / Estimate Fee

The diagnosis/estimate fee covers the time required to determine the issue with your appliance. This fee includes both the travel charge and the diagnostic service.

While it would be ideal to fully disassemble and test every component of an appliance, this is often not practical. In some cases, appliances may require extended run time to reproduce an error or confirm a problem.

To work efficiently and provide the best possible service and value, we rely on our technical experience to narrow down the issue and perform the most appropriate tests to reach an accurate diagnosis. If you have any questions about our diagnostic process, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Materials / Parts Fee

The materials/parts fee includes not only the cost of the part itself, but also all related expenses required to obtain and support the part. These may include, but are not limited to, shipping, packaging, ordering, warranty handling, returns, replacements, and delivery costs, as well as any other associated expenses that may be incurred.

Repair Service Trip Fee

The repair service trip fee covers the time and distance required to travel to the job site, as well as related transportation costs, including fuel, equipment, and tools. While some companies charge separate fees for diagnosis and service trips, we charge a single repair service trip fee only. When comparing prices, we encourage customers to take this into consideration.

Labor Fee

The labor fee includes on-site labor time required to repair, install, and test your appliance. It also covers associated business costs such as liability insurance, warranty support, overhead expenses, and the computers and diagnostic software necessary to properly service modern appliances.

Today’s appliances are highly advanced and require continuous professional training. Appliance repair involves knowledge of electronics, gas systems, mechanical and thermal engineering, as well as advanced computer diagnostics and circuit board testing. Our technicians regularly update their training to ensure accurate diagnosis and reliable repairs on modern, high-efficiency appliances.

Taxes

In accordance with state law, sales tax is applied to both parts and labor where required.
